Our official suggestion is that you use the adapter and cable included with you Model C5.
If you need to find a replacement or duplicate power source please use these criteria when selecting a power source:
- Make sure the adapter is rated for: 5 VDC at 2 Amps (or higher rating)
- The cable should be a high quality USB type A male to micro USB type B cable.
- Any length is acceptable (3, 6, or 10 feet)
- USB data lines are not used
- Use either USB micro port on the Model C5
- Do not use both ports simulateously, USE ONLY ONE AT A TIME.
- A laptop USB port may not have adequate power rating (< 2 Amps).
- Most plug-in car or wall outlet USB power/charger ports work very well. Be sure the rating is at least 2 Amps (10 Watts) per port
